national youth debate

You tell politicians about the solutions you see. You (digitally) travel to the provincial government to assume the role of politician with other young people and make your voice heard. You know what should happen! And before you know it, you’re in the House of Representatives.

For 26 years, the National Youth Debate has been making sure that young people can give their unfiltered opinion on local and national politicians’ plans. We shamelessly storm the council halls of every province to craft plans and provide solutions for issues that the governments can’t figure out. Done conquering the provinces? Next they travel to The Hague to enter debates with ministers and secretaries of state in the House of Representatives.

It’s 2021 – so this year we can’t do it all in person. But even online, young people easily debate like pros!
